Michael Mack - CEO

Michael was appointed to the role of Chief Exectutive Officer in September 2016 following the retirement of Peter Challis. He had previously served as Deputy CEO for WAW since 2007.   Michael has extensive banking experience  having also served with major banks and mutuals in the UK and Canada.


Gregory Hutchinson - Treasury and Compliance Manager

Greg has worked in the finance industry for 32 years, the last 22 of which have been with WAW Credit Union. Greg has held a number of positions within WAW's senior management group including IT and Operations Management.


Jennie Kotzur - Finance Manager

Jennie brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role of WAW Finance Manager. She has qualifications including a Bachelor of Business with a major in accounting and is an active sportsperson and community volunteer.


Phil Gavin - Loans Manager

As Loans Manager, Phil is in charge of credit risk for WAW's consumer and commercial lending portfolio. Phil brings over 30 years of credit management experience to WAW and oversees the daily operation of a loan portfolio worth more than $230m.


Ross Kearney - Regulatory Services Manager

Ross has worked in the legal profession for over 25 years and, as WAW Regulatory Services Manager, provides professional advice on financial regulatory framework compliance and corporate contracts. His qualifications include LLB - Sydney, Post Grad Dip Law - UTS, Mediation - Melbourne.


Leigh Stevenson - Relationship Manager

As Relationship Manager, Leigh is responsible for the WAW membership development programs. He is manager of the WAW Insurance department and has both ASIC Tier 1 and Tier 2 qualifications. Leigh has been employed with WAW for 8 years.


Frank Sergi - IT and Systems Manager

Frank is responsible for the development, maintenance and infrastructure of our Information Technology services as well as overseeing the WAW Systems Department. He holds a Degree in Information Technology and has over 17 years experience within the mutual financial institution sector.


Carmel Bordignon - Executive Assistant

Carmel has been Executive Assistant at WAW since 1995. She plays a key role in providing administrative support to the executive Management team and the Board of Directors. Carmel has a long involvement with Credit Unions, dating back to 1977 when she started working at the Victorian Credit Co-operative Association.
